What you can expect

Join fun and knowledgeable guides on a tour of Australia’s largest brewery which is responsible for bringing the great Carlton Draught, Great Northern and Victoria Bitter beers to life. The tour begins with a walk through the historic Abbotsford site to unearth over 150 years of brewing history while touring the mammoth brewing facility. This is a genuine working brewery and product numbers vary throughout the year. Depending on the day of the week, you’ll see how the brewing begins before moving into production, bottling and packaging. Following the brewery tour, finish with a paddle of beers to taste in the Carlton Brewhouse. The Brewhouse kitchen is open midday Wednesday to Sunday and every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings so you can enjoy a pub meal before or after your tour. Please note: the bottling line generally does not operate on weekends and some Fridays so plan your tour dates accordingly. Enclosed shoes must also be worn on the day.
